This type of paper is used in the production of plasterboard for construction purposes. It can be classified into two types, Ivory Board and Grey Board, which are used to form the front and back lining for plasterboard respectively. Ivory Board, which is the visible side, has a whiter surface, higher tear-resistant, more durable, and much smoother than Grey Board. High quality palsterboard liner must be strong, having high tensile strength, and can combine well with gypsum in the production process for high quality plasterboard structure.
